We access your calendar only when you ask – we do not store copies of your calendar data. We do not sell your data. You can disconnect your calendar anytime.

What We Collect

Account Info: Name, email, and preferences you set.

Calendar Data: Fetched directly from Google on-demand. We do not store copies of your calendar data.

Technical Data: Device/browser type, IP address, usage logs.

Who We Share With

We do not sell your personal information. We only share data in three cases:

  • With meeting recipients when you send a request (name and proposed times only)
  • With service providers operating under strict agreements
  • With legal authorities when required by law

How We Use and Protect Your Data

We use your data for calendar actions you request, to ensure the security and integrity of the service, and to support you when needed.

Data Minimization: We collect only what is necessary to operate the service. Calendar data is never written to our servers – it is fetched from Google on-demand to fulfill your request.

Security: All data encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest.

Retention: Your data is retained until you delete your account. Technical logs are retained up to 30 days.

Your Controls: Access, correct, or delete your data anytime. Disconnect your calendar in settings – we immediately stop access. Contact privacy@handshake.cc.

Google Calendar Access

We request the calendar permissions you authorize. We comply with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including Limited Use requirements.

This service is not intended for users under 13. Data may be processed outside your country with appropriate safeguards. We honor data access, deletion, and portability rights under applicable law (CCPA/GDPR). We'll update this page for material changes.
